Webinar: IPCC AR 6 – Working Group II: Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability
The Swiss NGO Platform is gladly informing you about the second webinar on the current IPCC Assessment Report Cycle VI.
Authors of the Working Group II Report on “Impacts, Adaptation and Vulnerability” will share their insights on the report’s major findings and implications with you.
On February 28, 2022, the working group II of the 6th Assessment Report cycle of the IPCC published its latest report on current and future impacts of climate change, adaptation and vulnerabilities. Its publication has been keenly awaited as it complements the Working Group 1 report from August 2021, which found that human influence on the climate was unequivocal and prepared the world for a near future where compound events will become more and more frequent (see webinar 1 recording here).
We have the pleasure to introduce you to the rich findings of the report with a great panel of its authors:
- Prof. Dr.Christian Huggel, University of Zurich
- Dr.Carolina Adler, Mountain Research Institute
- Dr. Veruska Muccione, University of Zurich
- Rupa Mukerji, HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation, lead author Climate Resilient Development Pathways
